Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with LJ Resources Enterprise to strengthen industry-academia collaboration and create more learning opportunities for students and the community.
The partnership focuses on joint research, publications, consultancy services, community projects, professional training, and knowledge sharing. It aims to equip students with practical skills and industry-relevant knowledge while supporting innovation and sustainable development in Labuan.
LJ Resources Enterprise is a Labuan-based training provider and risk assessment company registered with HRD Corp, DOSH, CIDB, and EiMAS. The company provides various occupational safety and health training programmes and risk assessment services, including CHRA, NRA, ERA, and LEV assessments.
Both organisations share a common goal of bridging the gap between academic learning and industry needs, promoting workplace safety, developing future professionals, and contributing to the growth of local businesses and communities.
The MoU was signed by UMS Vice-Chancellor Professor Datuk Dr. Kasim Mansor and LJ Resources Enterprise Sole Owner Joanita Joseph, alongside representatives from both organisations.
